These Terms of Use ("Terms") are the rules for using vocastay.com, including its stay search, comparison results, maps, and links to booking providers (together, the "Service"). When you use the Service, these Terms form an agreement between you and VocaStay. Please stop using the Service if you cannot accept them.

The Service is for people who are at least 18 years old and legally able to make this agreement.

VocaStay's role: discovery, not fulfillment

VocaStay brings accommodation offers from booking sites and property managers into a comparison experience. Our job is to help you discover and evaluate possible stays. We are not the owner, operator, inspector, or manager of a property shown in a result.

We are also not the merchant of record. VocaStay does not take the booking payment, create the reservation, or deliver the accommodation. Selecting an offer hands you off to the named provider, where you decide whether to book.

How to read a VocaStay price

A VocaStay result is a snapshot built from third-party data available when the search runs. Inventory can disappear, and a provider can update its price, property details, cancellation rules, taxes, fees, exchange-rate treatment, discount, or eligibility requirements before checkout.

The amount on VocaStay is there to support comparison; it is not a promise to sell a stay at that amount. Before paying, check the provider page. If its checkout details differ from ours, the provider's current price, property or room, occupancy rules, and booking conditions are the ones that apply.

We work to keep comparisons useful, but a listing, image, description, rating, amenity, price, or availability result can be incomplete, delayed, or no longer current.

The handoff to a booking provider

Your reservation relationship is with the booking site, property manager, or accommodation owner that accepts the booking—not with VocaStay. Its terms, privacy notice, payment conditions, cancellation rules, and house rules govern that transaction. That provider is also the right contact for confirmation, changes, cancellation, refunds, check-in, and problems during the stay.

Each provider and accommodation operator remains responsible for its own business, inventory, promises, and performance.

Why some links earn revenue

Some provider links can generate a commission for VocaStay after a click or booking. We do not add a separate VocaStay charge to the provider's booking price. The available commission is not a ranking input and cannot buy a provider a higher position. Our Affiliate Disclosure explains this model in more detail.

Use VocaStay fairly

To keep the comparison service useful and secure, you must not:

• use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity;
• interfere with the operation or security of the Service;
• circumvent access controls, rate limits, or technical protections;
• use automated means to scrape, copy, or extract the Service at scale without our written permission; or
• misrepresent an affiliation with VocaStay or use the Service to infringe another person's rights.

We may limit access when reasonably necessary to protect VocaStay, travelers, providers, or other people.

What belongs to whom

VocaStay's design, software, branding, and original writing belong to VocaStay or its licensors. Property details and photographs, provider names, and third-party marks remain the property of their respective owners; we display them to identify and compare offers.

You may use the Service for your own travel research. This permission is personal, limited, non-exclusive, and cannot be transferred to someone else.

Service availability and warranties

VocaStay provides the Service in its current form and subject to availability. To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not make implied promises of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted access, or error-free operation. This paragraph does not take away a warranty or consumer protection that the law says cannot be excluded.

Limits on our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, VocaStay is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profit, revenue, data, goodwill, or travel opportunities connected with the Service, a booking provider, or an accommodation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VocaStay's total liability for all claims arising from or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid directly to VocaStay for use of the Service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Because VocaStay currently does not charge travelers to use the comparison Service, the US $100 amount will generally apply. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

When VocaStay or these Terms change

The comparison service will evolve, and we may add, change, or retire features. We may also revise these Terms when the product or law changes. A revised version will appear on this page with a new date and will govern use of the Service from that date forward.

Washington law and venue

Washington State law governs this agreement, without applying its conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory law where you live says otherwise. Subject to non-waivable consumer rights, a dispute concerning this agreement or VocaStay must be brought in a state or federal court located in King County, Washington.
